Pazhutan Art Music Enterprise Is A systematic pedagogical project managed By Mohammad Pazhutan.

The system consists of different courses to study and explore the music technology, contemporary sound art and advanced music composition. While these courses are designed for composition students in the first place, they are also suitable for studio operators, instrumentalists, and even artists from other fields.

Please note that the classes have waiting lists. You can register in the contact page of this website.

Department Description:

ELECTRONIC AND COMPUTER MUSIC

The study of art of sound creation and reproduction using hardware and software systems. Focused on the principles of sound synthesis, sampling and advanced knowledge of modules (oscillators, filters, envelope generators, etc.) used in modular sound production systems.

In MPC1+ and MPC3 The Student learns the analog and digital signal flow and routing, connections, using control surfaces, DAW operation, sequencing and audio recording, digital signal processing, algorithmic composition, audio mixing and mastering.

In MPC 2 and MPC2+ The emulation of the contemporary styles through complete production of more than 60 different pieces of music boosts the skills of a composer/electronic musician/music producer as a synthesist and orchestrator and helps composing original material.

In MPC7, students understand the core concepts in computer music, digital signal process, the techniques of digital sound synthesis and develop creative methods for algorithmic and interactive computer music composition. Lectures also cover the philosophical ideas in sound art and the reasons that drive the development of computer music techniques in its artistic context?
